5 Faves from April

Hi! It's the end of April already and I wanted to share some of my favourites from this month-five products seemed like the perfect number.

Superdrug Vitamin E Moisturising day cream
This has been my absolute lifesaver of a cream this month. My skin is really dry in some places, but normal in others, so this moisturiser for normal to dry skin has been perfect for me. It seemed really thick at first, but I found it has put a lot of moisture back into my skin. It soaks in super quickly and doesn't leave your face feeling tacky. It smells a tiny bit like sunscreen/just being on holiday, but this is explained by the fact it has SPF 15.
Buy: You can get this for £2.99 here. Bargain.
This is cruelty free, woo.

Superdrug Naturally Radiant refreshing complete cleanser
This claims to awaken the skins natural glow, cleanse, remove make-up and tone. I use it twice a day; in the evening to remove my makeup-which it is amazing at-and in the morning just to refresh my face. My skin has been the most clear it will ever be after I started using this product in my 'routine' (I use that term lightly, because I do not have a skincare routine, honestly, the products in this post are the extent of my routine). Seeing as it is so affordable, I recommended this to everyone.
Buy: You can get this here for £5.99.
This is also cruelty free, yas!

One line a day diary
My best friend got my this for my birthday this month (Thank-you pal!), because I said I really wanted it one time and I have been loving it! The concept is, you write one line about your day-whether it's what you did, how you're feeling or what you're thinking-for five years. You can then look back and see what you were doing on that day the years prior. I have not been doing it for long, but I enjoy filling it in and it's already fun to see what I did a couple of weeks ago.
Buy: This one is from Wilko, but I couldn't find it online, so here is a pretty affordable one.
I obviously paired this with my fave fluffy pen-which is the sassiest pen ever and gives me real clueless vibes-here, also from Wilko.

Lypsyl mirror compact lip balm in 'heavenly vanilla'
If you know me, you'd know I am obsessed with a good lip balm. This combines a lip balm and a mirror in one simple compact. It means you can see where you are applying it when you're out and about, so you don't end up leaving a weird shine around your lips. The balm itself keeps my lips soft all day, and leaves a nice, glossy finish too. Love it!
Buy: You can get this here for £4.99, a little pricey for a lip balm, but worth it if you're an addict, like me

Figs and Rouge soft focus, pore perfect HD + matte veil
This has a heap ton of things it claims to do, including: minimising the appearance of pores-with long lasting pore correction, reduces skin impurities, combats breakouts and leaves a micro-fine soft focus effect on the skin. Woah.
I received this in GlossyBox, potentially last month, but I can't remember, and I have been using it before I put my makeup on. I have found that it has helped my skin out massively. Although I still break out in spots, my skin is definitely not as bad as it used to be. Without sounding stupid, using this makes my skin feel nicer whilst wearing and after I have removed makeup, not worse. I don't want to ramble on about this too much, but it is definitely in my good books.
Buy: You can get this here for £35.

And that concludes my five favourite things from April. I hope this hasn't seemed boring because of the lack of makeup/beauty bits, but these have truly been the things I have enjoyed using.
What have you been loving this month?

Lots of love xoxo

  1. I have a one line a day diary myself and I'm on my fourth year! Each day, I'll reread the previous entries and it's so interesting to compare across the years!
